Community Calendar

The KLMJ and KQCR Community Calendar is a free service for all non-profit groups, organizations, churches and schools, heard Monday- Friday at 10:30am.  If you have an event you would like posted on the Community Calendar please send it to: KLMJ/KQCR - P.O. Box 495 - Hampton, IA 50441 or fax it to 641-456-5655 or you can e-mail us by clicking   one week in advance.  Your event will air one day before the event and the day of on both stations.  Additional ads may be purchased at a non-profit rate by calling the KLMJ/KQCR office at 641-456-5656.

Christmas trees are now being accepted at the Franklin County Conservation Building in Hampton located in the southeast corner of the Franklin County Fairgrounds.  All trees must have decorations and stands removed. 

The Hampton Senior Center will be holding BINGO Monday 1:00 p.m. for area seniors at the Senior Center in Hampton. 

The Timothy Christian School will be serving a Spec’n Dicken Supper Monday 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Wellsburg Memorial Building.  Free will offering will be accepted. 

The Grundy County Memorial Hospital will host the Gundy Area Pulmonary Support Group Monday 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the education room at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center. 

The Iowa Falls-Alden High School Financial Aid and Local Scholarship Night will be held Monday 5:00 p.m. in the Iowa Falls-Alden High School Library in Iowa Falls. 

The Robert W. Barlow Memorial Library Board will meet Monday 5:30 p.m. at the library in Iowa Falls. 

An Old Time County Hoe Down will be held Monday 6:00 till 9:00 p.m. at the Windsor Theatre in Hampton.

The Franklin Medical Center, Latimer Clinic will be closed Tuesday. 

Life Serve Blood Center will be holding a Clarion Community Blood Drive Tuesday 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church in Clarion. 

The Candle-Stick Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at the Home of Deb Bochmann. 

Kothe Memorial Library Board will meet Tuesday 4:45 p.m. at the library in Parkersburg. 

Narcotics Anonymous will meet Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at the Fireside in Iowa Falls. 

Old-Timers Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon will meet Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at the Franklin County Alcoholism Service Center in Hampton. 

Writers Group will meet Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of the Allison Public Library.  Writers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome. 

An Organizational meeting of the Butler County Agricultural Extension Council will be held Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at the Butler County Extension Office in Allison. 

Alcoholics Anonymous will meet Tuesday 8:00 p.m. at the Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield.
