   What are my areas of interest?  Why do I love what I do?  Simply put, I've always loved sports, news, and music.  What better industry to work in than radio?

Sports - I've always been a huge Hawkeye fan (which puts me in the minority around these parts).  I try to continue following Hawkeye football players once they enter the NFL, a more common occurrence than it used to be (which is awesome)!  I also have an annual tradition of watching as much WrestleMania as possible on WrestleMania weekend.  That's my Super Bowl.  I was one of 80,102 people who attended WrestleMania 23 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on April 1, 2007...it's definitely a highlight of my life.

Music - Everything begins and ends with KISS.  One of my lifelong goals (that I've yet to begin working on) is to create a KISS family tree of every musician that's ever played with KISS, and branching out to other bands that they've played with and so on.  Example:  Eric Singer, current KISS drummer used to play in Black Sabbath, Black Sabbath was once fronted by Ozzy Osbourne, Ozzy is married to Sharon who co-hosted America's Got Talent with David Hasselhoff who once had a really terrible hit single in Germany where KISS isn't allowed to use their signature "" because that particular "S" can be identified with Nazi Germany.

Last, but certainly not least, why do I come to work everyday?  Besides the fact that I love my job?  The little faces you see below.  All kidding aside, they're my world.  Hunter is a 1st Grader whose new-found love is science.  Emma is now 3, and enjoys being a "little mama" to our newest addition, Hayden.  He was born on August 1st, 2011, and is already eating like an offensive lineman.  Their mother (my wife), Alexis, continues to be the glue that holds us all together.  Next year we will have shared 10 years together.
