Betsy started working for KLMJ/KQCR full-time in August of 2000 in the ad copy department.  Betsy now serves as News Director for KLMJ/KQCR and has worked in the newsroom for 8 years.   When not at work,  Betsy spends lots of time with her grandsons, Blayke, Brendyn, Ashtyn and Caden and grand-daughter Addasyn (all future Nascar Sprint Cup Champions).....Betsy spends her weekends watching NASCAR Trucks, Nationwide and Sprint Cup Races, cheering for BRIAN VICKERS, A.J. Almendinger, Terry Labonte (yes, he's coming back!) and anyone who takes out Tony Stewart......When NASCAR programming is not an option, Betsy is a big fan of Deputy Chief Brenda Lee Johnson of the LAPD in "The Closer" and most Reality T-V Shows.   Betsy also spends lots of time tracing her family history and has discovered she and fellow co-worker Sue are "sort of" related through family members is the Belmond area.  (Sue is so excited!!) 

Betsy grew up in the town of Bode and is a graduate of Twin Rivers High School, now known as Twin River Valley, where Indianapolis Colt Tight End Dallas Clark also graduated!!
