Jeff Moss

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.....I am Jeff Moss. Thank you for coming to our webpage and stopping by the staff directory to learn a little more about the people that work here and give you the information that you need. Hopefully after you read this, you will know a little more about me.

1. I am a 2001 graduate of Clarion-Goldfield. I participated in football, basketball, track and field and baseball. I was a member of the 2000 Cowboy track team that finished 7th at the state meet. In 2001, I was an all-state selection.

2. I went to Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids for two years after high school before going to Wartburg College. While at Wartburg I was a member of the Men's track and field program that won 3 IIAC Indoor Championships and 1 outdoor championships and finished 5th in the country in 2005. I graduated in 2006 with my degree in Communication Arts. I never got to use the new athletic facility and it laughs at me every time I am in Waverly and drive past it.

3. Wartburg College sparked my love for radio. I had my own 2 hour show which was a sports talk format and I also did numerous Wartburg Knights mens and womens basketball games.

4. After Wartburg I worked in Atlantic, IA for 2 years at 96.5 KSOM. I was the morning drive host as well as play-by-play voice for the local high schools in Southwest Iowa. It was a great opportunity to learn the real world of radio.

5. On June 23, 2008 I joined the staff at 104.9 KLMJ and 98.9 KQCR. I am the afternoon on-air DJ as well as the voice of the Hampton-Dumont Bulldogs and all of our other high school teams in the listening area. I am very lucky to work with a great staff of people and to get the chance to do what I truly love.

OTHER FUN FACTS ABOUT JEFF MOSS THAT MAY COME IN USEFUL

1. I am a fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Cubs.........thus....I am accustomed to disappointment

2. I have won the NCAA Mens Basketball Office Pool for the last 5 years......soon to be 6.

3. I know all BCS school mascots............this talent has turned out to be somewhat useful.....but for the most part it just shows how much time I have on my hands.

4. I want a Bulldog

5.I love professional wrestling.....and yes....I understand its "fake"....but its entertaining and these guys destroy themselves for our enjoyment....and I respect that.
