Hi! My
name is Kathy or Kathleen, depending on who YOU are. I’m originally from Fort Dodge, IA, and lived in Iowa City,
Ames and Twin Lakes before coming to Hampton.
I’m employed part-time at KLMJ/KQCR as the bookkeeping and office
manager.
I have four kids spread out across central and
eastern Iowa (three are in college!) so I can combine visits with them with Iowa
and Iowa State athletics (Hawks have the edge here). I prefer attending football games over basketball (sorry,
Craig) unless the weather is cold and wet (fair-weather fan).
I used to play tennis and softball until a few years
ago when I developed tennis elbow on the court and broke my ankle on the field
in the same summer. Now walking and
biking are more my speed. I
love to read and bake, and enjoy traveling and spending time with family and
friends.
