KLMJ Traffic/Copy Coordinator
I was raised on a farm between Williams and Dows. I graduated with honors from Northeast Hamilton High School in 1998. While in high school, I was a basketball cheerleader all 4 years, and I ran in the state track meet my sophomore year in the 4 x 1 and 4 x 2. In May 2000, I graduated early from AIB College of Business in Des Moines with a major in Travel and Tourism. While in Des Moines, I worked for the downtown branch of Younkers Travel Agency and Living History Farms.
On September 1st, 2001, I married Tyler Strother, a Hampton native. In May 2002, we moved to Hampton. Tyler and I have two living children Lily Katelin, born March 26, 2006, and Elijah Abram, born September 18, 2008. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my cats (Spooner, Perch, and George), watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends.
I joined the KLMJ staff in May 2002. Since starting I have held the positions of Front Desk, Salesperson, KLMJ Traffic, and KQCR Traffic/Copy Coordinator. Currently I am working with KLMJ Traffic and Adcopy.
